A baby tracker for two tired parents
Who fed the baby last? At 3 a.m., nobody remembers.
The Baby Story is a calm, shared log for feeds, sleep, diapers and growth. Your partner, your nanny and the grandparents all see the same day, and a new entry takes two taps.

The problem
Newborn days are a blur. The questions are not.
When was the last feed, and which side?
Did anyone change her diaper already?
What did the nanny give her today, and when did she nap?
How long did she actually sleep this week?
So you scroll a notes app, a group chat, your memory. It is scattered, it lives on one phone, and it is the last thing you want to open with a baby on your arm.
Before
A notes app, a chat thread and a guess. Two people with two different versions of the night.
After
One shared timeline. Open it, see the last feed, the last diaper and who did it. Then go back to your baby.
Why I built this
I needed this myself. With a newborn at home, my partner and I kept asking each other the same questions: when did she last eat, how long did she sleep, did anyone change her?
I looked for a good baby tracker and could not find one that fit how we actually live with a baby. So I built the one I wanted: quick enough to use with one hand, shared with the whole family, calm at night, and in Bahasa Indonesia.
It is young, and I improve it every week. If something is missing, tell me. I read every message.
Founder, The Baby Story
What it does
Three jobs, done well.
Log in two taps
Quick buttons for what you log most. Tweak the time or amount only when you need to. Entries save as you go, so an interruption never loses one.
One day, shared
Invite your partner, grandparents or a nanny with a link. Choose who can edit and who can only look. Everyone sees the same timeline, and who logged what.
See the pattern
Daily totals for milk, diapers and sleep, so you can answer "is this normal for her?" and "what do I tell the doctor?" with facts instead of a tired guess.
For the whole village
Hired a nanny? Asked family to help? Everyone sees the same thing.
When more than two people care for one baby, the knowledge gets split across phones and memories. Here it lives in one place. Your nanny logs the 10:30 feed and nap, and you see it from the office, without a call or a message.
- Invite each person with a link. Each one joins with their own account, so you always see who logged what.
- Handovers are easy: the next person opens the app and knows the last feed, the last diaper and the last nap.
- You choose who can log and who can only look, and you can remove anyone at any time.
Your partner
Logs night feeds and changes, edits a mistake, sees the full day and the charts.
Can log and editYour nanny or babysitter
Logs feeds, naps and diapers during the day, so you know how the day went before you are home.
Can log and editGrandparents and family
Follow along from anywhere. They see the day but cannot change anything by accident.
Can only lookGrowth
Know where your baby sits, calmly.
Weight, length and head circumference are drawn against the WHO Child Growth Standards, with the −3 to +3 SD lines used on Indonesian growth charts (IDAI, KMS style).
- Scroll back day by day to birth.
- Girl and boy curves, picked from your baby's sex.
- If a point sits outside the usual range, you get one neutral note: worth mentioning at your next check-up. Never a verdict.
The Baby Story is not a medical service and does not replace your doctor or midwife.
Example only. The real chart uses WHO's published tables and your baby's own measurements.
Built for tired hands
Made for the 3 a.m. thumb.
One hand is enough
Big buttons at the bottom of the screen, where your thumb already is.
Nothing to set up first
A few friendly questions to start. Only your baby's name and birthday are required, and you can skip the rest.
No guilt, ever
No streaks, no scores, no "you missed a feed". It is a log, not a judge.
Coming next
Where we are going.
Chat with Eli
Ask a question about your baby's day and get an answer based on what you logged. A helper, never a doctor.
The iPhone app
Today it works in your phone's browser, and you can add it to your Home Screen. A native iPhone app, with a Night theme, is being built.
Questions
Before you start.
How do I get access?
Tap Join the whitelist and create your account on the welcome page. No card is needed. Pricing is not decided yet, and we will tell you before anything changes.
Do my partner and nanny need accounts?
Yes, their own, so you can see who logged what. You send an invite link, choose whether they can log or only look, and they join your baby's log in a minute.
Which phones does it work on?
Any phone with a modern browser. Open the site and add it to your Home Screen. A native iPhone app is coming.
Is it medical advice?
No. It records what you tell it and shows it back clearly. For anything about your baby's health, talk to your doctor or midwife.
Which languages?
English and Bahasa Indonesia, with a switch inside the app.
